Time flies and before I know it, its been 4 months since I have posted anything on this blog! I wish I was able to do more in a day, but for now this is all I can and between making new art for my shop and working on custom orders, there is hardly any time left for much else! I try to squeeze in a bit of Instagram into that mix but then that is it!
With the holidays almost here, I have been a busy beaver trying to finish some commissioned art and keeping my shop stocked up on art prints and cards . Talking about custom art, I received a very unique request, the other day and it was to illustrate quilt blocks! Quilting is very close to my heart, I used to quilt a lot before I had to choose to focus on one medium and I decided to go with watercolors rather than fiber arts. I have many finished quilts and many more quilt blocks from my sewing days but painting one seemed like the perfect way to relive those memories! So I got to work and I must say it has been quite an interesting and fun series. I will soon be having a king size quilt without sewing a stitch! lol!
I thought these would make a perfect piece of wall art for a seamstress or a quilter and decided to make these available as art prints. Imagine having these in a quilters studio!

I have also been working on adding some motivational hand lettered pieces to my shop as art prints and cards in the modern calligraphy style. Will make a separate post on that soon!
I think I will keep this post short and be sure to be back with another post soon!
Happy Holidays!
