Stamp-A -Faire- A sprinkle of salt technique

 
 Playing along Papertrey Ink Stamp-A-Faire-  A sprinkle of salt challenge.

I use this technique quite often on my watercolor  cards and simply love the effect. I wanted to try the other technique that Nicole shared, but I was out of plain old glue and decided to leave that for another day and made a card using my ole' favorite..sprinkle salt on wet paint.

 Stamps- PTI- Sending my love, happy trails

 Dropped colors randomly across the paper and sprinkled salt while still wet...let dry completely before brushing off. stamped the butterflies and sentiment.

 A closer look....

 ....notice the mottled effect of salt on watercolor....it can be seen pretty well in the picture  above  ...on the green at the top middle of the card ...
