Grateful...

A couple of days back, we were invited for dinner and I needed a thank you card for the hostess. I decided to break open my brand new Clearly Besotted stamp set . I love the flowers in this set, perfect for coloring. I used watercolors as usual to color and used my very favorite sentiment from the PTI Inside and out Thank you set.

Stamps- Clearly besotted- Happy everything

I waited for the stickles to dry before taking a picture, since I am known to have a ruined an utterly stunning painting due to my impatience!...... added to this, my husband really did not help by being  behind me like an hour glass, constantly reminding me that we were getting late..phew!

A closer look at the stickles for the stamens, love how it sparkles in real!

Looks like this fits in the current challenge  at  Clearly Besotted challenge #3- color inspiration

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  2. You might consider this a card but it looks like a painting to me. It's so beautiful. The colors are so vibrant and shaded so well that I feel if I touched them they would be real. I love the sentiment. Where did you say you got it? Was it Paper Trey (Tray) Ink?

Sometimes I miss the most obvious answers:)

  21. That's a piece of art! Stunning! I'm trying my hand at watercoloring myself so this is a great inspiration. I love how you've added some color outside of the stamp to the background as well, I never though of that before. Fantastic!
