("Way before I came across this quote , I had been living my life by this very principle. I have always believed that God took the time to make us all different from each other for a reason and we should not meddle with it !
I love to take and if asked, give, good constructive criticism and feedback because I feel it makes a better person out of us but at the same time I refuse to sugar coat my words just to please people! When someone does ask me a sugar coated opinion , I always feel like telling them..... " If this an Alter Ego Emergency please hang up and dial ........"!!!!!!!
Growing up or for that matter even now I often hear people say " why can't you be more like .......". which always makes me wonder how and why I would want to be anybody else when I already am who I am! Would I not trip and fall if I wore someone elses shoes, would it not be ill fitting if I wore someone else's clothes then why wear someone else's nature?
We should be true to ourselves , true to the nature we were born with. At the end of the day we have none to answer but our inner soul. This might be called headstrong or holding up one's individuality, either way ..THIS IS who I am!!)
Supplies- Strathmore visual journal, faber Castell gelatos, Gesso, acrylic paints,inktense pencils,stamps.
This page came about when I was in the midst of flak for reasons unknown or perhaps for the simple reason of just being myself and since I love to vent in color, I sat with my journal and came up with this!

Be who you are, but keep in mind, the famous words of Mary Poppins :0 " A Spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down...." Love the colors in your journal, and that is a very good saying you chose :) waving hi from the hills of North Carolina!
