Every Single Day....

Ok so after a bit of thought, I finally caved in and gave the bleach technique a try, this week's MIM# 76 reviewed this technique and after I watched the video, I wanted to  jump in right away and give it a go , but I have a strong aversion to the smell of bleach , I close my nose every time I use it ,and trying to stamp with my nose closed is a bit of a stretch !...,so I mulled over it for a while and finally here is what I came up with......

Stamps PTI- Happy Trails, Movers and Shakers Sentiments.

  1. It's such a beautiful card with a lovely sentiment. The golden birds against the beautiful red colors look amazing!

  4. I hear you on the bleach nasty-ness ... my family ended up vacating the 2nd floor where my plate of bleach was sitting. So glad you did the challenge though! You got such a great texture and color on the red cardstock! And the design is really swell too.

  6. Bleach is definitely not fun... stamping, laundry, or otherwise! LOL But sticking it out was TOTALLY worth it - this is gorgeous! Thanks so much for playing along in the Freestyle challenge over at A Blog Named Hero! :)

  7. I need to try this technique. Your card is gorgeous! Congrats on your win over at CAS-ual Fridays too! I wanted to stop by also and responded (very belatedly) saying that the set I used on my card earlier this week was PaperTrey Ink's Iconic Images set. Unfortunately it was a limited edition set, but maybe someone has it for sale on the PTI Forum.

  8. The paper you chose is gorgeous, so rich with texture it looks like fabric making the bleach technique even more impressive. I'm glad you got over the smell-I would hate to have missed seeing this beauty! :)
