Video - Unity Blog Hop

It's Thursday and it's time to hop along with Unity!

This week Unity Stamps is releasing quite a few beauties  and I chose to color this 'Beach Girl' created by Angie Blom.

Also I have a video for you showing you how I painted the piece below. I gave it a very moody atmospheric .....a very rainy day feel if you may...

The stamp is of course by Unity and is called 'Harmony Girl' and is an earlier release.

Here is the video...

 a closer look...

Don't forget to check out the sale over at Unity stamps...!

We have TWO amazing Unity filled prize packages to giveaway.  Leave a comment on EACH blog in the hop (including the Unity blog) for your chance to win.  The winners will be announced Saturday night on the Unity blog.

  17. Fabulous cards. Harmony could be walking down our sidewalk here in the Seattle area...and we do dance in the rain and jump in the puddles. The beach girl reminds me of spring in San Diego. Wonderful pieces of art.

  40. Thank you so much for another wonderful tutorial. I much appreciate you sharing your talents and techniques with all of us. One question, could you tell me what you stamped the girl with at the beginning before you painted her? I see gray, but I also see black areas.

  41. Such a dreamy watercolor. I love looking at it. It makes my imagination search for her story. Your video tutorials are wonderful.

  42. I am new to your blog and LOVE watching you paint. I noted that when you start with a stamped image, portions of the image are darker before you paint. Do you do that with a pen? If so, what pen is it that resists water?

  43. I absolutely LOVE your style!! I love to watch you paint. Your work is amazing. Did you ever take classes or just taught yourself to paint like this? I'm trying so hard to teach myself to watercolor and I'm not very good at it. Do you think maybe you can show your water jar as well so that we can see when you go to get water and when you wet the paper. I need every step. I'm so visual. I tried taking some painting classes, but I just didn't think our teacher really had the patients to teach us. It was also acrylic painting and he didn't offer watercolor. Your work just amazes me and I would love to be able to do something like this. God really blessed you with an amazing talent! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
    hugs,
    jen
