 Happy Sunday everyone!

Today we woke up to time change and lost an hour of sleep but no complaints here, as I got an extra hour to work on this watercolored piece!

Time change also means we are 'officially' done with winter or so I would like to believe.....
......yay.. we survived!

The fairy and the sentiment are stamps by Crafter's Companion  from the Fairyopolis-Summer set . The rest has been sketched and watercolored.

Here are some stepped out pics click on them for a larger view.

Although I could have completed the entire picture using watercolors , I find that using different mediums on a single painting/picture usually offers added interest and gives the eye something to focus on. Here  I have used Spectrum Noir markers for the image. I love the way these bleed just so slightly on watercolor paper, thereby giving a beautiful texture .

And now for a closer look...

Thanks so much for stopping by and I  hope you enjoyed today's post!

Take care and have a wonderful Sunday!
