Namaste!

Namaste! ( sanskrit  for salutations to you...'.Namah'-bow,salutation .....'Te'-  to you)
.....and a very happy Diwali !

Today we celebrate Diwali-the festival of Lights. It's a five day celebration with lots of sweets, lights and fireworks!

Diwali signifies the victory of the good over evil and traditionally clay lamps also know as "Diya" are  filled with sesame oil and lit in rows as we move from darkness unto light.

If you are following the hop, then you should have come here from Smriti's blog, if not, then you can find a list of blogs at the  bottom of this post, so don't forget to hop, cause there are prizes to be won!

Diya- watercolor= 4.5"x 6 "on 140# cold press watercolor paper

Chaitali from cuts crops and creativity is hosting this  Diwali blog hop and is very generously giving away  two sets of her newest stamp set, Henna Swirls,  to two lucky winners of the hop! She will pick them from comments left on all our blogs!

There She Goes is sponsoring the prize!

Your next stop is Gayatri.....

  2. Sanketi, I love this watercolor, so vibrant and fluid . The little bit of white spaces within the colors is the master stroke which makes it so real !!
